Service Description
Transmission fluid is like any other lubricant, over time it wears down and cannot perform and protect as designed. Today's modern Transmissions can use a variety of different types with specific formulations. ZF Transmissions, CVT Transmissions and Hybrid Transmissions just to name a few. Prices can vary extensively so an estimate would be necessary to give the correct pricing. NOTE: Vehicles over 200k miles with no history of fluid services would not be recommended. Price includes up to 9 Qts of Standard Full Synthetic Transmission Fluid. Larger transmissions that hold 12+ quarts of fluid would have to be charged per quart extra. Note: If fluid is very dark/dirty, a filter change or flush could cause the transmission to have issues including, but not limited to, vibrations, hard shifts, slipping or even no movement of vehicle. However this is VERY rare and usually on a service of transmission with over 200k miles and/or extremely hard driving habits.
